BREAKING NEWS: Pacific Aggregates in Lake Elsinore Engulfed by Flames

Cal Fire officials are on the scene of a fire at a commercial plant in Lake Elsinore, Lane Media has learned.

According to Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann, the blaze was first reported at 6:14 p.m. Tuesday, June 3 in the 28000 block of Lake Street in Lake Elsinore.

Thick plumes of black smoke were visible to residents in the surrounding region and multiple explosions could be heard.

“Cal Fire/Riverside County firefighters are on scene of a fire involving a three-story conveyor belt at Pacific Aggregates. The fire is confined to the machinery,” Hagemann said in a released statement.

There are no known injuries at this time, according to Hagemann’s released statement.
