“The Incident Commander (on scene) reported an explosion related to propane gas that destroyed the kitchen and tasting area.” Stated Melody Hendrickson, public information officer for Cal Fire. “There were no injuries reported, and the tasting room remains open today.”

The blaze was centralized around the kitchen area, per Hendrickson, and according to reports, the winery remains in service, though calls to the winery remain unanswered as of 3 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2014.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation, according to Cal Fire.
