Paul Little and Graham Judge of Shamrock Pub and Eatery are raising funds AND awareness of the kids and needs at Oak Grove. Little signed up to run the marathon. Judge committed to a Slim-A-Thon. The funds raised are helping re-decorate the kids unit at Oak Grove to make it friendlier, more of a home environment for the kids who live there, AND to include updated art work with great messages from some of their therapy groups. Shamrock is also the proud Presenting Sponsor of Rock the Oaks a Benefit for the Arts & Autism programs at Oak Grove.

In his facebook post, Little stated,

“By the time you read this I will have started the Carlsbad marathon I am running for Oak Grove. Look out for some pictures as I try and plot my way round the 26.2 miles. Hoping to be at the finish line in around 5 hours. So far we have raised around $600 so I am hoping to boost that amount with your support. The whole reason I am doing this is for the kids so please donate if you can and use this link. Thank you so much and I hope to see you in the pub tomorrow afternoon for a celebration beer (God willing!) Paul.” http://www.active.com/donate/14oakgrovefnd/Shamrockhelpsoakgrov

Six miles to go, don’t forget to give, for the cause he is running for: Oak Grove Center for Education Treatment & the Arts. Determination, dedication, and a dream of raising funds for a cause dear to his heart.
