What’s open? What’s not this Thanksgiving in Temecula Wine Country –plus how to celebrate Black Friday Wine Country Style

Wine glasses Thanksgiving break is coming, and chances are–if you’re staying around Temecula Valley Wine Country, you have guests coming in to enjoy the day. But after the Turkey is devoured, the dishes done, not everyone has black Friday on the brain. Chances are, there are those among you who will need a respite from the shopping madness.

Thanksgiving Day Temecula Wineries open, November 28, 2013:

  • Footpath Winery – open from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. —  36650 Glen Oaks Road, Temecula CA, 92592 ph: 951-265-9951
  • South Coast Winery – Restaurant is open from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. — 34843 Rancho California Road, Temecula, California 92591 ph: 951-587-9463

Wineries will return to regular scheduled Friday hours on Black Friday, however a few have special happenings for worn-out shoppers, including Europa Village Winery.

Friday, November 29th 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Europa Village Winery’s antidote to the shopping madness is “Vivi Bene” or “Live Well.”

Escape the crowds and come on out for a relaxed shopping experience at Europa Village Winery. With many unique items this year available for your shopping pleasure, including wine, retail items, gift cards, wine club memberships. Not to be ignored, Chef Dean’s cornucopia of gourmet goodies are guaranteed to spice up gift baskets and holiday parties. 

Shoppers of Europa Village Winery can enjoy a 10% discount on all wine and holiday purchases, and an additional 5% discount when you bring six non-perishable food items (benefiting the Temecula Pantry). Discounts may be combined with Société Members discount. For more information, visit
