Originally reported at 4:14 p.m. November 5, 2013, in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, California — Henry Guler-Romero, a one month old Hispanic male infant. Suspected abductor is Mesut Guler, a 22-year-old Turkish male, brown hair, brown eyes, 6-feet tall, 120 lbs., who is possibly driving a 2004 Tan GMC Envoy, with license plate #6HIL892 bearing a large American eagle decal on the rear window.
Suspected in the San Diego’s Kearny Mesa or Hillcrest areas, reports state: “About 5:30 a.m., San Diego police said they saw the vehicle late Tuesday night in the Kearny Mesa area and in the Hillcrest area. Police also noted they were able to detect the “ping” of his father’s cellphone.”
In a recent report by ABC10 News, Sunnyvale police officers stated, “The suspect (who is the child’s father,) became upset with the mother. Guler told the mother that he was leaving the state with the child, police said. According to authorities, Guler has made previous threats to harm himself and the baby.”
Guler’s cell phone was “pinged” on Interstate 805 between Balboa Avenue and state Route 163 at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday, according to the CHP.
Per KTVU.com and wires, California Highway Patrol officer Peter Van Eckert stated the two-week old infant was reportedly taken from an apartment complex in the 900 block of Helen Avenue in Sunnyvale, California around 4 p.m. Tuesday.
