Temecula, Rainbow shaken awake by 3.6 earthquake

Temecula expected a scorcher today, however, most citizens did not expect to be woken up with a jolt on Thursday, August 22, 2013.

Registering 3.6 on the Richter scale this morning’s earthquake started with a loud boom! Followed by rattling shelves for about 30 seconds.

Long enough to cause excitement but not long enough to wake those who managed to sleep through the sharp quake.

And weigh in what is the first thing YOU do during an earthquake!
