Where Do You Beach? Coronado Island, San Diego

With only one more week of summer in Temecula Valley school district, how are you spending your days?

Temecula is just 45 minutes from everything…Beaches, ball games, Disneyland, and Sea World.

This week, join us as we explore our locale, and embrace the beauty of living where the rest of the world vacations.

Today, we start out by exploring the beauty of Coronado Island, the white sheer cliffs of Point Loma, and one of the most family friendly beaches in San Diego.

Coronado’s main beach is sparking clean, today with broad flat water, light body surf-able waves, and lifestyles of the rich and famous as you cruise down Ocean Blvd.

The peaked red roof of Hotel Del Coronado at one end, the Naval Officers visitors’ quarters and dog friendly beach at the other, from our center perch it’s an easy view of helicopters and navy ships shuttling out to sea.

Not quite 70 degrees, the water temp a bracing 64, personally I’m looking forward to that marine layer rolling in, and a long walk through town square later this evening, exploring all this tiny island has to offer.
